Terms

Terms of use

These terms cover laptopdesktop.org ("Carry or Stay"), run by WeldonPC.com. By using the site you agree to them.

What the site is

Carry or Stay scores five kinds of computer against your answers using the rules published on How it scores, and writes a shopping brief. Sizes, amounts and margins in the brief are rules of thumb, not maker requirements, and the site is not a guarantee that any computer will suit you. Check the requirements of the programs you use and the seller's return policy before you buy.

Carry or Stay sells no computers, links to no store, takes no commission and recommends no brand or model. WeldonPC.com operates the site; it does not sell or repair computers through it.

Your folders

A Brief Folder is protected only by its link: anyone you give the link to can open and change it. Labels are for short names like "Home office"; do not put passwords or personal details in them.

The Brief Pass

The Brief Pass costs $1.95 a month or $19.50 a year, paid through PayPal, and renews until you cancel it in PayPal. When you cancel, it stays on until the end of the period you paid for. During the preview there is no checkout and every folder has the Brief Pass tools free.

Fair use

Do not use the site to store unlawful material or to attack it. Limits on new folders and saves per hour keep the service up for everyone.

No warranty

The site is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and your folders safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available, and we are not liable for losses from using it, as far as the law allows.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version appears on this page with its date. Last changed 14 October 2026.
